Michelle Davis has been practicing yoga since 1994 and has been a teacher since 2003. She is an experienced certified yoga instructor, having trained at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health and at the School Yoga Institute. In March 2023, she studied with Bernie Clark and received a Yin Yoga Teacher Certification. Michelle has been awarded certifications at the 200, 500, 800, and 1,000 hour level.

She greatly influenced by the spiritual teachings of Namadeva Archarya, Thomas Ashley-Farrand. Michelle considers, Raji, Gretchen Carmel, as her spiritual guide and teacher of Sanskrit devotional practices.

Michelle is honored to have taken classes and workshops with the following teachers whom have greatly influenced the development of her yoga practice, lifestyle and her yoga teaching- Sharon Gannon, Seane Corn, Elena Brower, Gabby Bernstein, Tao Porchon-Lynch and Snatam Kaur Khalasa.

Michelle’s teaching style is an eclectic blend of classical knowledge combined with intuitive awareness, meeting each practitioner exactly where they are on their mat. Since 2003, Michelle has been considered a favorite local yoga instructor in the Monadnock region. She looks forward to seeing you on the mat.

WINTER 2026 Schedule-

Weekly in person classes are held at Aloha Keene on Tuesday and Thursday including a monthly Sunday Restorative Yoga

 Tuesday 4:30-5:40pm- Flow Yoga is a vinyasa inspired class featuring invigorating standing sequences to strengthen muscles and build stamina, followed by a series of back bends, spinal twists and a cooling sequence designed to improve range of motion and flexibility. Alternate Nostril Breath used at the close to practice to balance the body, mind & spirit.

Thursday 4-5:10pm -Yin Yoga is a specialized practice designed to strengthen connective tissue (your joint capsule, fascia, ligament, tendon & bone). Students will experience long holds with yin postures, as well as a variety of traditional yoga poses to provide deep release of tension, improve balance, build strength, increase flexibility and improve range of motion.

Specialty Events & Workshops

3/1/26- Restorative Yoga from 3-4:30pm a deeply relaxing yoga workshop featuring mindful breathing, gentle stretching and renewed vitality. Yoga props such as blankets, bolsters and blocks are used to support the body allowing for a very relaxed posture experience. $28

2/13/26 - 7-8pm Aerial Yin Yoga & Sound Bath with local musician, Jim Butler. This unique yoga & sound experience features mindful breathing, gentle stretching and yin postures using the aerial silks as a prop to support the body. After a series of yin postures you will rest in the cozy cocoon of the aerial hammock listening to a deeply relaxing sound bath designed to promote deep rest & inner peace. $55
